Case Overview: Ms. Cheng commissioned Seapoe Relo to ship her solid wood old furniture to Tokyo, Japan.
Ms. Cheng was assigned to work in Tokyo, Japan. Since Tokyo didn’t have the type of solid wood furniture she liked, she decided to bring her home’s solid wood pieces to Japan. After comparing several options, she chose Seapoe Relo.
The furniture she shipped included: a bed, a wardrobe, two nightstands, a TV cabinet, a bookcase, a desk, a dining table, eight chairs, a coffee table, a rug, a vase, a table lamp, etc. – totaling 15 m³.

Because solid wood furniture is quite valuable, Ms. Cheng was especially concerned about packing. Seapoe provided professional door-to-door packing services using pearl cotton, shock-proof bubble columns, thickened edge protectors, and moisture-proof stretch wrap – protecting against scratches, bumps, and moisture. For bulky items like the double bed, Seapoe also offered disassembly service: the headboard, footboard, side rails, and slats were packed separately to save space. Fragile items like the vase were individually and carefully packed by the movers.
After all items were packed, everything was transported to Seapoe’s Shanghai warehouse, where they enjoyed 30 days of free storage. During this period, Ms. Cheng ordered a few soft furnishings online and decided to ship them together to her new home in Japan. Seapoe’s warehouse could receive and inspect the goods for free, and repack them carefully.
After about ten days, Ms. Cheng received her furniture that had crossed the ocean. Seapoe delivered it to her doorstep, removed the outer packaging, placed the furniture precisely in position, and collected and disposed of all waste cardboard boxes.
