Case Overview: Mr. Tong commissioned Seapoe to move all the furniture from his Shanghai home to San Francisco by sea.

Mr. Tong was relocating from Shanghai to San Francisco for a work transfer. The sofa, dining table, bed frame, and bookcase had all been carefully picked out, and after years of use they were still in good condition. It seemed wasteful to throw them away, and buying replacements in the US would be expensive, so he decided to send the lot across the ocean. After looking into his options, Mr. Tong chose Seapoe and signed a formal service contract.

After signing, Seapoe assigned a dedicated customer service contact to handle the whole move and confirmed the packing appointment with Mr. Tong in advance. The crew arrived on time and wrapped every piece of furniture in multiple layers of professional materials such as cotton paper, pearl cotton, and stretch film, adding extra corner guards on the edges and reinforcing fragile items separately. Once packing was complete, the goods were taken by dedicated truck to the warehouse for consolidation, then loaded into a container and shipped out.

After the shipment reached San Francisco, Seapoe arranged a local truck for door delivery. The truck stopped outside Mr. Tong's building, and the crew unloaded each piece of furniture smoothly and carried it straight inside.

Inside, the crew laid protective mats on the floor first so nothing would scratch it during the move, then placed every piece in its designated spot following Mr. Tong's directions. For larger furniture they also unwrapped and lightly assembled the items, and all packing debris was collected and taken away in one go. When they wrapped up, everything was basically ready for immediate use.
