Case summary: Mr. Wang entrusted Seapoe Relo with shipping his used furniture by sea to Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Mr. Wang has worked and lived in the Netherlands for years, and he planned to bring his family to Amsterdam so they could be together. Traveling overseas with them were the household's large furniture pieces and the piano his child plays every day. After comparing several international moving providers, Mr. Wang chose Seapoe Relo, which has established experience in packing and shipping pianos.

Once the contract was signed, Seapoe sent a professional team to the home on schedule. For a valuable, easily damaged instrument like a piano, the team follows a multi-layer protection standard: cardboard goes down first to isolate the piano from the floor and guard against knocks and moisture; the body is then covered completely with full sheets of thickened pearl cotton, with extra wrapping and reinforcement at high-risk spots such as edges and corners; the outer layer is sealed with several rounds of tight stretch film, leaving no gaps; and custom corner boards are fitted to every edge as a second layer of protection, shaped to the piano's contours. After the goods reached the warehouse, a made-to-measure fumigation-free wooden crate was built around the piano. Layer after layer, the aim is to minimize the risk of jolts and impacts during ocean transit.

Because his child needs to keep up with practice, Mr. Wang had high expectations for transit time. A dedicated customer service representative stayed with the shipment the whole way, following and updating every stage, proactively reporting on the goods and patiently answering all of Mr. Wang's questions. The door-to-door service ran as a closed loop, from packing at the Nantong home and customs declaration for the ocean leg through to clearance and delivery at the door. The goods arrived at the Amsterdam residence intact, supporting the family's life together after their reunion overseas.
